I was tasked with rebranding Baker Bob’s, a small, one off bakery. The goal was to consolidate and refine their logo and brand to create a cohesive design that could be used everywhere in their store.
This project went through a lot of sketches with only two of them being in the running as finalists. There were alot of different types of logo designs, some being only wordmarks, while some others were leaning heavily on graphics. The final concept was to use a strand of wheat used for flour as the graphic element in the logo.
Because we wanted the bakery to feel sort of rustic, the fonts had to match, using a serif font with a lot of character, paired with a sans serif with slightly rounded edges, it creates a look that really works wellThe imagery to go along with this logo design was really important, it needed to set the mood for the store as well as show off the items inside. These product shots and logo placings really help further solidify the brands look and feel.
